Amsha Africa Foundation provides quality laptops to underserved communities through vetted nonprofit organizations, NGOs, schools, community-based organizations and other qualified partners.
But we don’t stop at hardware.
Every AAF laptop deployment is paired with the AAF Digital Passport — a structured learning pathway that helps learners move from basic computer skills to digital productivity, coding, Python, AI and real-world projects.

AAF provides laptops through organizations — not directly to individuals.
Eligible partners may include:
- Registered nonprofit organizations
- NGOs and community-based organizations
- Schools and educational institutions
- Workforce and vocational programs
- Libraries and community learning centers
- Youth, STEM and digital-skills programs
Organizations must demonstrate a clear community need, responsible device management and a commitment to learner development and impact reporting.
Individual laptop requests are not accepted.
A Laptop Is Just the Beginning
Receiving a computer can be life-changing.
But access alone isn’t enough.
The AAF Digital Passport gives learners a pathway to build the skills needed to use that technology confidently and productively.
Learners progress from:
Computer Basics → Internet Safety → Productivity → Coding → Python → Data → AI → LLMs → AI Agents → Real-World Projects
The current Digital Passport includes 8 levels and 68 lessons, with practical activities and mastery assessments along the way.

AAF works through its established technology partnership to make quality laptops available for community programs.

Approved partners deploy devices within their communities.

Recipients participate in the AAF Digital Passport learning pathway.

AAF laptops are provided exclusively for approved educational, workforce-development and community-impact purposes.
Donated devices may not be sold, traded or commercially redistributed.
Our goal isn’t simply to count how many laptops we distribute.
It’s to understand what people learn, build and become because they received one.
AAF opens its Laptop Donation Program application portal twice each year, typically during:
February 1–28
August 1–31
Exact dates for each application cycle will be announced on the AAF website and official social media channels.
During an open application period, eligible nonprofit organizations, NGOs, schools, community-based organizations and other qualified partners may submit an application through our online portal.
Please note:
- Applications are only accepted during announced application windows.
- AAF does not accept laptop applications from individuals.
- Applications submitted by email or outside the official application portal will not be considered.
- Applying does not guarantee an allocation. Laptop availability varies by cycle.
- Selected organizations must meet AAF’s vetting, accountability and Digital Passport participation requirements.
