Why I Founded AAF
In 2007, while visiting Kenya during the post-election violence, I witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of poverty, instability, and lost opportunity. That experience inspired me to create an organization dedicated to empowering communities through education, technology, economic opportunity, and sustainable development.
Since 2008, AAF has been powered largely by individual donors, volunteers, and supporters who believe that lasting change begins when people are given the opportunity to succeed.
