Nandi County, Kenya<\/strong> \u2013 Amsha Africa Foundation is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Aldai Rise XCountry & Medical Outreach<\/strong>, taking place on August 8<\/strong>, bringing together healthcare, sports, education, and technology to improve lives across communities in Nandi County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on the success of last year’s outreach, which reached more than 5,000 people<\/strong>, this year’s event aims to expand its impact by providing essential medical services, vision care, youth empowerment programs, and digital skills training to even more families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outreach will feature free medical consultations, vision screenings, distribution of prescription eyeglasses, health education, and referrals for specialized care. At the same time, young people will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on digital literacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) training designed to prepare them for the rapidly evolving digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the RiseTech Initiative<\/strong>, Amsha Africa Foundation is working to bridge the digital divide by equipping young people with practical technology skills that create pathways to education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Thanks to the generous support of Intel<\/strong>, more than 100 laptops have been donated to support AI and digital literacy training during the outreach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event is being organized in collaboration with the County Government of Nandi<\/strong>, Athletics Kenya<\/strong>, RiseTech Initiative<\/strong>, Intel<\/strong>, Education Seeds<\/strong>, Binti Mwangaza<\/strong>, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and numerous community partners who share a common vision of creating healthier, more empowered communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year’s outreach demonstrated the power of collaboration by bringing together public institutions, private sector organizations, nonprofits, and volunteers to deliver life-changing services. The 2026 edition seeks to build on that momentum with an even greater reach and lasting community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We believe that access to quality healthcare and digital education should never be determined by where someone lives,” said the Amsha Africa Foundation team. “By combining medical outreach with technology and skills development, we are investing not only in healthier communities but also in a generation that is prepared for the future.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make this year’s outreach possible, Amsha Africa Foundation is raising USD 45,000<\/strong> to support medical supplies, healthcare services, vision care, technology training, logistics, and community engagement activities. Individuals, organizations, and corporate partners are invited to support the initiative through donations, sponsorships, volunteering, or in-kind contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every contribution helps bring healthcare closer to underserved families, restore sight through vision care, empower young people with digital and AI skills, and create opportunities that extend well beyond the event itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As August 8 approaches, Amsha Africa Foundation looks forward to welcoming partners, volunteers, healthcare professionals, athletes, and community members for a day dedicated to transforming lives and building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
