Amsha Africa Foundation (AAF)\u00a0 aims to address the prevalent issue of domestic violence in the Global South, including emotional and physical abuse.\u00a0<\/p>

Through shelter homes, collaboration with Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), postpartum depression support, and child protection initiatives, the foundation provides comprehensive assistance to empower and support affected individuals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Despite many countries in Sub-Saharan Africa enacting the Children’s Act and similar legislation, child abuse remains prevalent in the region due to inadequate implementation of these laws.<\/p>

Currently, child protection measures in many countries of the global south are not effectively and fully implemented. Achieving compliance with such legislation would be more feasible if there was a comprehensive understanding of the magnitude of the problem and a better grasp of the factors that put children at risk.<\/p>

Efforts to combat child abuse and ensure the well-being of children require a multi-faceted approach, including raising awareness about the issue, promoting effective implementation of existing legislation, and addressing the underlying factors contributing to child abuse. By working together, we can strive for a safer and more secure future for all children in these regions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We organize medical missions and partnering with pharmaceutical companies, medical schools, doctors, and medical students to deliver vital shipments of medical aid and expertise to areas in need.<\/p>

Our focus is on collaborating with local doctors in rural hospitals throughout underserved regions in Africa and the Global South, where impoverished communities face significant healthcare challenges. These dedicated healthcare professionals guide us in identifying the medical needs of their communities. Working closely with our partner doctors and medical students in the United States, we procure the necessary medical supplies and ensure their safe transportation to these regions.<\/p>

Through our collaborative efforts, we strive to address the healthcare disparities and provide sustainable solutions to empower communities in need. According to UNICEF almost fifty percent of the developing worlds population-2.5 billion people-lack improved sanitation facilities and over 884 million people so use unsafe drinking water sources. Inadequate access to safe water and sanitation services coupled win poor hygiene practices kills and sickens thousands of children everyday and leads to impoverished and diminished opportunities for thousands more.<\/span><\/p>

Poor sanitation water and hygiene have many other serious repercussions. Children- and particularly girls- are denied the right to education because their schools lack private and decent sanitation facilities, women are forced to spend large parts of their day fetching water<\/span><\/p>

Poor farmers and wage earners are less productive due to illness, health systems are overwhelmed and national economies suffer without (WASH) Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
