Focus Area:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b>Women and young adults<\/span><\/p>

Description of project:\u00a0<\/b>Since 2012 over 20,000 reusable sanitary pads have been manufactured and distributed and training delivered to over 500 women and young adults. This project also addresses the lack of access to clean water and sanitation facilities that are essential to menstrual hygiene management.<\/span><\/p>

Beneficiaries:\u00a0<\/b>2000 +\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Status:\u00a0<\/b>Launched in January 2012, currently ongoing.<\/span><\/p>

Description of project:\u00a0<\/b>With the Africa Gigsters program, we connect talented youth from under represented groups in the Global South and North with meaningful and well-paying gigs online, and international clients.<\/span><\/p>

Beneficiaries:\u00a0<\/b>100 +\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Status:\u00a0<\/b>Launched in January 2023, currently ongoing.<\/span><\/p>

Focus Area:\u00a0<\/strong>Food Security\/Community Development Sustainable Agriculture.<\/span><\/p>

Description of project:\u00a0<\/strong>Designed to address immediate food insecurity (food shortage) at the household level, improve the cassava value chain, and promote value addition aimed at creating employment opportunities for youth. Other crops earmarked are green grams and cowpeas which will boost nutrition for communities in this region.<\/span><\/p>

Description of project:\u00a0<\/strong>Create an organization of 20 lawyers that offer free legal services to children whose rights have been violated in East Africa These lawyers have successfully provided free legal services on 42 cases and have 120 cases that are being worked on.<\/span><\/p>
