At Amsha Africa Foundation (AAF), our mission is to make a lasting impact on rural communities in Africa and the Global South. We achieve this by partnering with registered community-based organizations and supporting projects that align with our funding guidelines.<\/p>

Our rigorous selection process involves inviting vetted communities to submit proposals, which are carefully reviewed by our project teams. To ensure the feasibility and sustainability of each project, our dedicated AAF ground teams visit the project locations for thorough evaluation.<\/p>

We believe in fostering community ownership and long-term success. That’s why we work hand in hand with the community-based organizations and assist in forming project management committees. These committees consist of community members who oversee the project’s sustainability even after its completion.<\/p>

To ensure effective project management, AAF maintains close monitoring through regular visits to the project sites. Additionally, we appoint a permanent representative from our organization to actively participate in the community’s project management committee. This representative plays a crucial role in providing periodic reports to AAF, ensuring transparency and accountability.<\/p>

1.AAF is working with our technology partners to design and deploy low cost drones armed with computer vision and powered by machine learning to collect data points from the farms existing crops.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

1.AAF is working on 10 parallel projects in 5 countries to provide portable water treatment and solar water heater systems for families in 10 pre-selected communities in East and Central Africa to simplify harvesting drinkable water.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4.The challenge today in getting drinkable water is due to lack of an acceptable energy resource People in these communities use natural resources mainly wood charcoal and papyrus in order to heat water for cooking, washing and drinking it is expensive in a long-term perspective and leads to smoke inhalation, deforestation and increased carbon dioxide emissions, this project hopes to change this.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
